Last year I had the pleasure to work with Lauren and Paddy for their late November wedding at Walker’s Overlook, just outside of Frederick, MD. Lauren and Paddy met at summer camp where they were counselors for kids with special needs. They are two of the nicest people and it was such an honor to be a part of their wedding. Photographer Kate Fine Art was there to capture every detail. It was a wonderful wedding with Chris Laich Music Services, Catering by Uptown and Edge Floral Event Designers.

Here is part one of their day:

Walker’s Overlook is a beautiful venue with rustic charm. Since they only do one wedding a day, Lauren and her bridesmaids were able to get ready in the house on the property.

I just loved Lauren’s classic bouquet of seasonal white blooms via Edge Floral Event Designers.
Lauren and Paddy chose to do a “First Look” and then take portraits with their wedding party prior to the ceremony. The grounds at Walker’s Overlook was a perfect location for these photos.

Lauren and Paddy’s love story is super sweet. Not only did they meet at summer camp, but Paddy is from Ireland and moved to the states to be with his love. Their ceremony was officiated by their camp director.

Due to the cold weather on their late November wedding day, we held the ceremony in the heated tent at Walker’s Overlook. The bright blooms and candles from Edge Floral Event Designers created a lovely ambiance.

Congratulations to Lauren and Paddy! After their ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour in the house at Walker’s Overlook and then made their way back into the tent for dinner and dancing. Part 2 photos will be posted later this week.
