Here is Part 2 of our Annapolis wedding, see Part 1 to see the ceremony for Rachael and Russ at the Naval Academy Chapel. After the ceremony, guests headed to The Westin Annapolis for the lovely and fun reception. Rachael’s design ideas were inspired by a modern and elegant summer wedding. She included tropical flowers, a color palette of peach, pink, salmon and classic black and white attire. Her and Russ have such a loving and warm family, it was a really great group! Their whole day was perfect; I am honored to have been a part of their wedding. Photographer Krista A. Jones did an amazing job capturing their ceremony and reception.
Rachael and Russ took advantage of the beautiful day to take pictures on the Naval Academy campus after their ceremony. I loved their bridal portraits taken by Krista. She did a great job with finding sweet backdrops and handing a big bridal party; these photos are stunning.
My team had a great time setting up their cocktail hour and reception space. Rachael added cute details including her DIY place card table decor (made out of clear boxes from the container store) and the cake topper made by the Mother of the Groom!
To start their reception, Rachael and Russ introduced their wedding party and then went straight into their first dance. The night included heartfelt toasts, a sword cake cutting, a big dance party and a group photo on the dance floor.
Congrats Rachael and Russ! I loved working with you for your wedding.
The beautiful photos are all from Krista A. Jones. Thanks again to all of the vendors who helped make Rachael and Russ’s wedding day a wonderful celebration!
