Real Wedding for Rachael and Russ at the Naval Academy – Part 1
Last summer I had the pleasure to work with Rachael and Russ for their Annapolis wedding at the Naval Academy Chapel and The Westin Annapolis. Their wedding was incredibly fun and special; the two met when Rachael was in college and Russ was at the Naval Academy. Almost their entire guest list traveled from Ohio, Pittsburgh and around the country to Annapolis for the weekend. Here is part 1 of their day; getting ready and the beautiful ceremony at the Naval Academy Chapel. Photographer Krista A. Jones did an incredible job photographing the entire day!Rachael and her bridesmaids started the day getting ready at The Westin. The whole morning Rachael glowed, you could just tell how excited and happy she was to get married. She also had the best bridal accessory, a stunning ivory peony bouquet from Cache Fleur.I was so touched when Rachael asked Krista to take her picture with me!Russ and his groomsmen spent the morning hanging and out and getting ready at The Westin. Rachael and Russ chose not to see each other before their ceremony. I coordinated with their vendors and had the gentlemen depart first so that Russ wouldn’t see his bride until she walked down the aisle. The Naval Academy Chapel is definitely one of my favorite ceremony settings. It is just stunning!
After the ceremony, the traditional sword exit took place on the steps of the chapel. The beautiful photos are all from Krista A. Jones. Part 2, including bridal party and reception photos, will be posted later this week!
