Here is Part 2 of our Fall DC wedding at The Westin Georgetown for Emily and Andrew. See Part 1, to view their elegant ceremony at St. Francis Episcopal Church. After the ceremony, guests headed into Georgetown to get ready for the evening festivities. Their reception included so many beautiful fall details, including leaves, pumpkins and a pine cone place card table; it was so much fun to set everything up and see Emily’s vision come together. Emily and Andrew’s wedding was traditional and elegant but not stuffy, the night included a fun dance party and after party at Boveda at The Westin. Photographer Anne Lord did an incredible job capturing their day.
In between the ceremony and reception, Emily and Andrew (along with their bridal party) took advantage of the beautiful day for photos in downtown DC. Emily and Andrew are adorable together, you can tell that they not only love and adore on another, but they are also friends!
These stunning bridal portraits are even more beautiful with the natural light and fall leaves! And you can really tell how happy and in love Emily and Andrew are together.
How cute are these shots of the bridal party. The great group consisted of friends and family of the bride and groom. I love the long navy dresses worn by the bridesmaids and the gray suites worn by the groomsmen; both were perfectly accented with the punch of fall colors from their bouquets and boutonnieres.
Emily’s pine cone place card table is definitely one of my favorites! Her reception was beautiful and the staff at The Westin did such a wonderful job with the entire evening!
After cocktail hour in the courtyard, we kicked off the evening with Emily and Andrew’s first dance. Guests then enjoyed a delicious meal before toasts, cake cutting and dancing the night away!
