I would have loved to be a fly on the wall at the recent Kennedy Center Honors event and reception.  This past Sunday,  the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts celebrated individuals who have made contributions in dance, theater, music, opera, TV and motion pictures.   Before the event President Obama and First Lady welcomed the 2011 honorees (Babara Cook, Neil Diamon, Yo-Yo Ma, Sonny Rollins and Meryl Streep) at a reception at the White House.

The ever beautiful First Lady Michelle Obama looked amazing in the floor length cobalt blue Vera Wang gown.  And the always glam Sarah Jessica Parker looked both elegant and cute in the Theyskens Theory gown.  

In the words of Rachel Zoe, I’d die for either dress – especially to wear as a bridesmaid (and/or mother-of attire)!
